According to WHO, The preventive measures for COVID-19 are detailed below:

1. Wash your hands regularly

The first way to prevent COVID-19 is by washing your hands with rigorously with soap and water or most time uses an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. In this way, you stand a chance of surviving this Global pandemic.

2. One-metre distance protocol

The one-meter protocol is also known as social distancing. This occurs so as to prevent the virus from spreading through airborne disease in most cases between you and people who cough or sneezes.

3. Avoid Touching your face

Touching your face would only make the situation worse. Analysis from you WHO, made it know that average confirmed case of COVID-19 was a result of the patient touching their face. The more you keep your hands far away from your face the safer you are.

4. Cover your mouth and nose

5. Stay Home

COVID-19 symptoms come in diverse ways and only starts to show during the 14 days incubation period of the virus. W.H.O further stated that there are common symptoms and other symptoms. Common symptoms are listed below:

  • Fever
  • Tiredness
  • Dry Cough

While the Other symptoms are :

  • MShortness of breath
  • aches and pains
  • Sore throat
  • and confirmed cases report diarrhoea, nausea or a runny nose.

Whenever you notice these symptom listed above occur consecutively, kindly self-isolate and Stay at home or wherever you are for the next 14 days. If the symptom persists Contact the nearest Clinic and report your health status immediately.
